You’ll feel a controlled stinging or warmth as the peel is applied, followed by redness and light swelling. Peeling begins in days, with flaking and revealing smoother skin. A full recovery typically takes one to two weeks with proper care.
Assessment by our licensed esthetician is required. We may perform a patch test and recommend pre-treatment conditioning to minimize irritation. For highly reactive skin we may adjust strength or suggest gentler alternatives to ensure safety and optimal results.
Most clients notice improvement after one treatment, but a series of two to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart often yields the best progressive reduction in pigmentation, texture irregularities, and overall skin rejuvenation.
Avoid retinoids, waxing, and strong exfoliants for at least one week before your peel. Aftercare includes gentle cleansing, sun avoidance, daily SPF 30+ application, and using soothing moisturizers to support healing and prevent complications.
Temporary redness, swelling, irritation, and flaking are common. Less common risks include infection, prolonged discoloration, or scarring, especially without proper pre- and post-care. Our team follows strict protocols to minimize complications and will discuss personalized risks during consultation.
We recommend waiting at least five to seven days or until visible peeling subsides before applying makeup. Use mineral-based, non-comedogenic products and only after your skin has fully calmed; your esthetician will give personalized timing based on healing.
