Get answers to common questions about Full Arms Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free arms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Factors such as hormones, medication and genetics affect timing; regular appointments help maintain longer intervals between treatments.

Waxing involves brief discomfort as hair is removed from the root, but pain is usually tolerable. To minimize it, avoid caffeine, exfoliate beforehand, take a mild pain reliever thirty to sixty minutes prior, and breathe deeply during treatment.

Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions, oils or heavy moisturizers. Hair should be about a quarter-inch long (around 5–7 mm). Exfoliate gently two to three days before and avoid sun exposure immediately prior to your visit.

For best results, avoid hot baths, saunas and intense workouts for 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean, apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer, and exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Most clients book every four to six weeks to catch new growth at the ideal length. Individual cycles vary; once you establish a routine, waxing commonly results in longer gaps and finer regrowth over time.

Retinol and strong chemical exfoliants thin and sensitize skin. We recommend pausing retinoids at least seven to fourteen days before waxing and informing your technician. A patch test may be required to ensure safe treatment.
