Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Side-Burns Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth sideburns for three to six weeks depending on hair growth and hormonal factors. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and create finer, sparser hair over time; follow recommended appointment intervals for best results.

Waxing causes a brief sting as hair is removed, but our gentle technique and pre-soothe measures reduce pain. Numbing creams are available on request; breathing and relaxed muscles also help minimize discomfort during the quick procedure.

Come with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy moisturizers or oils on the day of your appointment. Allow hair to be at least ¼ inch long for effective waxing; inform us about medications or recent skin treatments beforehand.

Avoid shaving between appointments; it alters the hair growth cycle and can make waxing less effective. If you must remove stray hairs, trim gently with scissors rather than shaving, and book follow-up waxing at the recommended interval.

Avoid exfoliants, retinols, acids and strong active products for at least 48 hours after waxing. Use gentle cleansers and soothing lotions, and protect the area from sun exposure to prevent irritation and hyperpigmentation.

Side-Burns Waxing is usually suitable for sensitive skin when performed by experienced therapists using gentle wax. Patch tests and informed consultation are provided; disclose skin conditions, recent procedures, or medications before treatment to ensure safety.
