Yes. Regular waxing pulls hair from the root and can weaken follicles, often resulting in finer, sparser regrowth over months. Individual results vary; consistent sessions every 3–6 weeks produce the best long-term thinning effect.
We typically recommend 3–6 week intervals depending on your natural hair cycle. Wait until hair is roughly 1/4 to 1/2 inch long for best grip and comfort. Your therapist will advise a personalized schedule.
Most clients experience quick, manageable discomfort that lessens with repetition. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine, exfoliate gently before your visit, arrive relaxed, and use a topical numbing cream if recommended by your therapist.
Consultation and a patch test are essential. If you have active razor burn, open wounds, or severe irritation, we advise waiting until skin heals. We use gentle waxes and soothing aftercare for sensitive skin types.
Ensure hair is 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, cleanse the area and avoid heavy deodorant on the day. Exfoliate 24–48 hours before and skip retinoids or strong acids prior to waxing to prevent extra sensitivity.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and fragranced deodorants for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing, apply a soothing aloe or antiseptic gel, and gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
